Man Ray
Man Ray (August 27, 1890 – November 18, 1976), born Emmanuel Radnitzky, was an American artist who spent most of his career in Paris, France. Perhaps best described simply as a modernist, he was a significant contributor to both the Dada and Surrealist movements, although his ties to each were informal. Best known in the art world for his avant-garde photography, Man Ray produced major works in a variety of media and considered himself a painter above all. He was also a renowned fashion and portrait photographer. He is noted for his photograms, which he renamed "rayographs" after himself.

Fly As You Might by Julian Plenti (Paul Banks)
I am here but you give you my best
Stand by your side while you rest
'cause your my girl, 'cause your my girl
I will provide for you best
I've always liked you the best
Fly as you might, Fly as you might
I will support you through this
I'll hold your hand while you rest
'cause your my girl, 'cause your my girl
I think my deeds will attest
I've always liked you the best
Fly as you might, Fly as you might
I think this song is one of the best he's ever written! I die when he sings: 'cause you're my girl <3

Sponsored by VMan and conceived by VMan editor Jacob Brown and Mathias Lauridsen, the event brought together male models from all the top NY agencies for a lively competition that was all in good fun. Models from VNY, Request, DNA Models, New York Models, Major Models and Ford Models all showed up on the fields to prove their stuff and while everyone worked their hardest, the victory went to the men of Major. Their prize? An upcoming photo shoot in this summer’s VMan. (all images Betty for models.com)
Dan from VNY (in green) rallies around the ball against Ford (in black) in the semifinals.
Next year, Team VNY!
The heated finals pit DNA against Major.
JD Ferguson gave a lively and often quite hilarious running commentary of the whole game.

The New Mother Teresa!
The New Mother Teresa! Here, Freja is holding someone’s kid. The lady did not know that the face of Chanel was taking a picture with her child. She was just enthralled by Freja’s presence, and she was ecstatic when I later told her!

O H S O C O C O: Notre Mariage
Within this blog you often see into my professional life but, once I saw these films I realized that though personal, they were too beautiful to keep to myself. The first film is just 3 minutes long and is perfect for those of you who may not have much time. The second film is an expanded 18 minute version and contains some lovely interviews. I'm happy to present to you two short films documenting our wedding in France, the happiest day of my life.

James and I would like to give a heart felt thanks and credit to the following people:
Cynthia Nicholson and her lovely family who opened the grand doors of their Chateau to us. Cynthia, you made us all feel like royalty and gave us two days we will never forget. (I highly recommend you to make a trip to Chateau Challain in the Loire valley and spend the night, it's worth the trip!)
Gilbert Le and his amazing Americana Cinema crew who made these beautiful films. He's simply THE best cinematographer we ever met and he realized our vision for the film perfectly. Thank you Gilbert for capturing the look, feel and ambiance of our special day in a way we can always cherish.
Our wonderful family and friends who made it all the way out to France to watch us exchange our vows. You are the reason we are who we are and we love you with all our hearts.
Zac Posen and his talented team who created a true masterpiece for me to wear. I can never thank you enough for making this little girls dream come true Zac, you are a true artist and friend.
Additional thanks to Dior Homme for James' handsome tuxedo and Liz Pugh at Rimmel for coming all the way from London to do my make-up.
I sign off now as,
Mrs. Coco Rocha Conran.
so sweet!
